Camera processing and baby profiles stay on your device. Regular sharing exports the item you select. Interactive sharing uploads a copy of the selected original photo for up to 30 days. Anyone with its link can view it. No accounts, advertising or tracking.

About this policy
Early Eyes is an educational iPhone app made by Andrew Millspaugh for parents and other adults interested in infant vision. This policy describes the app, its support website and information you choose to send when asking for help.
Camera and saved moments
Live camera frames are processed on your device. Early Eyes does not record microphone audio or upload live camera frames automatically. Only an explicit interactive-sharing action uploads a selected photo. When you tap the shutter, the app saves the source image, a thumbnail, the capture date, the selected age and rendering settings in its own storage. The gallery keeps up to 60 moments. When it is full, the app asks before replacing the oldest moment; Cancel keeps your existing moments.
Your baby’s profile
If you choose to set up a profile, the app stores a birth date, the difference in days between the birth date and optional due date, and an optional name on your device. These details set the starting age and personalize shared images or clips. You can explore ages without creating a profile. We do not receive these details.
Sharing and backups
Saving to Photos or using the share sheet sends only the item you choose to the destination you select. Shared images or clips may include the baby’s name and age. Check the preview before sharing. Photos, other apps and iOS device backups may store or sync those items under your settings and their own privacy policies. Interactive sharing is a separate option: after your confirmation, it uploads a copy without personal metadata of the visible original photo and rendering calibration to private Cloudflare storage. Its unguessable link contains a photo identifier and selected simulation age, not a name, birthday or location. Anyone with the link can download the original. Links expire after 30 days; expired files are deleted by hourly cleanup. Stop sharing deletes the hosted photo sooner. We do not use these photos for advertising, analytics or model training. Cloudflare processes network information to deliver and protect the service.
Deleting your data
Delete saved moments from the app’s gallery. To remove a baby profile, return to the framed view, tap your baby’s heading at the top and choose Remove baby. Deleting the app removes its local storage. Exported copies and device backups are managed separately in Photos, the destination app or your device’s backup settings. Stop interactive links from Moments → Shared links before deleting the app. Deleting a local Moment or uninstalling does not revoke its links; they still expire automatically. Revocation cannot remove copies recipients already downloaded.
Analytics, purchases and links
Early Eyes includes no advertising, analytics SDKs or tracking. The app does not send usage or diagnostic data to a server operated by us. Apple handles App Store purchases and may process diagnostics under your Apple settings. Opening a research, support or refund link connects you to that website, which has its own privacy practices.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include so we can respond. Send only what is needed to explain the issue; photos of children and baby profile details are usually unnecessary. Email is processed by our email provider. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle your request and related obligations. You can ask us to delete it.
The support website
The support and privacy pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the app’s on-device camera processing.
